This Day in Anne Moody History - February 14

On Feb. 14, 2015, a memorial service for civil rights pioneer Anne Moody was held at the Homochitto Association Development Center in Gloster, MS. Moody wrote Coming of Age in Mississippi. She was born and raised in Centreville, Miss. Her book was first published in 1968. It is still read in schools and universities across the United States.
