This Day in Anne Moody History - February 5

On Feb. 5, 2015, Anne Moody, author of Coming of Age in Mississippi, died at her home in Gloster, Miss. She was 74. Moody grew up in Centreville, Miss. She worked as a civil rights activist while attending Tougaloo College in the early 1960s. Her book was published in 1968.
