Justice Served for Massacre in Christchurch, New Zealand

The tragedy sparked interest in my article on Islam in Pennsylvania

Justice done. According to the AP, "The white supremacist who slaughtered 51 worshippers at two New Zealand mosques was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole."

This tragedy occurred on  March 15,  2019 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Soon after it happened, to my surprise, people in Christchurch began downloading my 2000 newspaper story about Islam in a Pennsylvania community. The story, which was written for Public Opinion, is titled, "Dove sculptures at school: Traditional symbol of peace sparks fierce battle over Islamic religion."
